UNCEASING

Unceasing originated from the Array Series, inspired by the imagery of the forest. Segments were created with the traditional drawings, printed in photo silkscreen technique on BFK Rives. Silkscreen compositions contain original hand drawn stencils created from life. Compositions are created strictly in black and white to emphasize the power of nature. Repetitive imagery represent a forest that once was a shelter for my relatives during the Holocaust.

ARRAY Series 2019 - 2021

Array Series is an ongoing print and drawing series inspired by the imagery of banana palm trees at Gran Canary Island. Silkscreen compositions contain original hand drawn stencils created from life at the Island and from the memory afterwards in my studio. Compositions are created strictly in black and white in order to focus on fascinating details of these resilient plants and its fibers.

Prints and original drawings connect with the memory, the moment of recollection and physical existence of nature. Series was printed using a photo silkscreen method on BFK Rives or Gampi papers - layered and dipped in beeswax afterwards.
